What to do in the event of an accident?

If you experience a motor incident, please contact United Legal Assistance immediately on 0151 559 7560.

Their dedicated team will gather all relevant details about the incident and discuss the next steps in the claims process.

  • Remain calm
  • Contact police if necessary
  • Exchange details with the third party and report the claim to us directly at the scene
  • Ensure to take photos and record the scene for immediate evidence

What are the benefits of working with ULA?

Following a motor accident, a dedicated claims handler will manage the motor claim on your behalf. Simply call our Motor Accident Helpline and we will record the accident details and initiate a claim with the motor insurer, regardless of whether you’re at fault or not!

If your vehicle is undrivable following a road traffic accident, we will recover you, your vehicle and any passengers to a safe place away from the accident scene.

If, following an accident, your vehicle is undriveable, we will provide you with an emergency hire vehicle whilst your vehicle is off the road. We will attempt to repair your vehicle using our extensive repair network. Subject to availability.

We will arrange funding for the repair of your vehicle, which means you will not have to pay your policy excess in the event of a non-fault accident.

Should your vehicle be deemed a ‘write off’, we will help you negotiate a settlement with your Insurer.

We want to ensure you have what you need to get out on the road safe in the knowledge that if something does happen, you’re covered.
